Biography
Although Mr. Hodges began his legal career as a business and commercial litigator, his practice now focuses on pension, benefits, collective bargaining, and labor law, primarily in connection with multiemployer employee benefit plans, as well as representing lawyers and law firms in licensing, ethics, and professional responsibility issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hodges served as a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Teilborg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Before embarking on his legal career, he played baseball collegiately at Texas Tech University and professionally for two seasons in the Houston Astros minor league system. He currently serves as President on the Board of Directors of the Jennings Strouss Foundation.

- Representation of a national bank in more than 100 actions involving a variety of claims and counterclaims, including claims for deficiency, breach of contract, breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing, fraud, and waste
- Representation of former directors and officers of several failed financial institutions concerning the FDIC’s investigation, mediation, and litigation process
- Representation of several national financing companies in a variety of bankruptcy and state court proceedings, including stay-lift matters and replevin actions
- Representation of a multi-million dollar lottery winner in probate proceedings concerning assets valued in the millions
