Ms. Gurney joined Jennings Strouss in 1997. As a nurse consultant, she assists the attorneys in the firm’s medical malpractice defense practice. She is involved in case development, research, client support, engagement of experts, and ongoing interactions for discussion of opinions, presentation of key information for attorney use, and drafting of documents throughout the course of litigations.
Prior to entering this field, Ms. Gurney practiced for 17 years in a variety of clinical settings, including surgery, post-anesthesia care, and medical oncology, in both staff and supervisory roles.
