William E. Bassoff

Mr. Bassoff was a Summer Associate at Jennings Strouss in 2021, and returns as a Law Clerk in the Firm’s Business Litigation Department.

Biography

Mr. Bassoff was a Summer Associate at Jennings Strouss in 2021, and returns as an Associate in the Firm’s Business Litigation Department.

An Arizona native, Mr. Bassoff earned his J.D. from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating magna cum laude and with the Order of the Coif distinction. Previously, Mr. Bassoff graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University.

During law school, Mr. Bassoff competed in several moot court competitions, including the Southwest NYC Bar Moot Court Competition in 2020, where he received a Top 10 Speaker Award. Further, Mr. Bassoff served in the school’s Civil Litigation Clinic, providing pro bono legal assistance to members of the community. Additionally, Mr. Bassoff served as an Associate Editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal and wrote a comment on the introduction of the Alternative Business Structure for law firm ownership in Arizona.

Mr. Bassoff served as a legal intern for Parabellum Capital in New York, where he gained experience with litigation finance and transactional law. Mr. Bassoff also externed for Judge Liburdi in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.

In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his rescue dog “Millie” and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
