Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.L.C. is proud to sponsor the 2021 Virtual Arizona & Mexico Town Hall Series highlighting Cross-Border Connecting.
Join us for the October 14, 2021, event titled Cross-Border Connecting: “Education Persevering the Pandemic.” The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all levels of education in the United States and Mexico. This town hall will focus on the high school level, from input around the state with high school student parents to how a high school district on the U.S./Mexico border has adjusted to challenges in serving students with a positive learning environment. Speakers will include Lisa Anderson, Associate Superintendent at Yuma Union High School District; Erin Eccleston, Senior Director at Community Impact, Education Forward Arizona; and Shelley Jones Mellon, Owner/Broker at RL Jones Insurance Services, Inc.
The focus: As the Arizona-Mexico community continues to work through the COVID-19 pandemic and its lasting effects, participants will hear from guest speakers and build professional networks providing important recommendations that can play a crucial role in driving cross-border trade, tourism, investment, cultural connections, and economic development in the Arizona and Sonora region.
The goal: Participants build professional networks while providing important recommendations that can play a critical role in shaping the regional development strategy for the Arizona-Sonora megaregion.
