Biography

Mr. Leavitt’s practice is focused on commercial, employment and probate litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Leavitt practiced at a law firm in Twin Falls, Idaho. While attending the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, he served on the Executive Board of Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Mr. Leavitt also worked as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Nancy Porter in Elko, Nevada, and the Hon. Molly J. Huskey at the Idaho Court of Appeals.

  • Defended a corporation and its president in a wage dispute with a former employee
  • Assisted with representation of several former employees against alleged breaches of non-competition agreements
  • Assisted with representation of shareholders in close corporations relating to breach of fiduciary duty and allegations of individual liability
  • Represented a beneficiary under a deed of trust in non-judicial foreclosure proceedings
  • Assisted with representation of beneficiaries under a will in probate disputes
  • Represented landlords in eviction proceedings
