Biography

Mr. Hodges focuses his litigation practice on commercial, real estate, bankruptcy, and business disputes, as well as attorney representation before the Arizona State Bar, the Committee on Character and Fitness, and the Arizona Board of Governors, including disciplinary, reinstatement, and character-and-fitness proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hodges served as a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Teilborg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Before embarking on his legal career, he played baseball collegiately at Texas Tech University and professionally for two seasons in the Houston Astros minor league system.

  • Representation of a national bank in more than 100 actions involving a variety of claims and counterclaims, including claims for deficiency, breach of contract, breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing, fraud, and waste
  • Representation of former directors and officers of several failed financial institutions concerning the FDIC’s investigation, mediation, and litigation process
  • Representation of several national financing companies in a variety of bankruptcy and state court proceedings, including stay-lift matters and replevin actions
  • Representation of a multi-million dollar lottery winner in probate proceedings concerning assets valued in the millions
