Ms. Bowman focuses her practice on the areas of general litigation and family and domestic relations law.

In her general litigation practice, Ms. Bowman provides representation on a variety of complex legal issues, including commercial, corporate, banking, real estate, agricultural and environmental, tort defense, municipal, and other business disputes. She has represented a variety of individuals in complex litigation matters, and specializes in finance intensive matters requiring analysis and understanding of corporate balance sheets or investments.

In her family and domestic relations law practice, Ms. Bowman provides representation to clients with needs in every aspect of family law, including divorce, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, domestic partnerships and the related contract law, custody disputes, and adoptions. Like her practice in general litigation, Ms. Bowman specializes in complex marriage dissolutions, with a particular strength in handling “business divorces,” where the spouses must divide substantial assets and holdings. As is the focus of the family law department at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, Ms. Bowman strives to always balance the needs of preserving a healthy family dynamic while advocating for the best possible outcome for her client, recognizing the legal, financial, and emotional components of any marriage dissolution.

In her legal career, Ms. Bowman has also had experience in the corporate transactional practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, securities, business planning and formation, real estate, trust and estates, and other corporate and financial transactions.

An Arizona native, Ms. Bowman grew up in Yuma, AZ, involved from a young age in her family’s farming company. Ms. Bowman subsequently spent eight years in New York, where she attended graduate school to obtain her J.D./M.B.A. and was a trader and analyst for Goldman Sachs in their Capital Structure Franchise Trading group, which dealt in distressed assets and other special situations, both in a client-facing market-making and a proprietary investment role. This experience included, company and asset (e.g., debt, equity) valuation, risk evaluation and management, hedging and investing recommendations.
