Join us for an informative seminar to learn more about Qualified Opportunity Zones and Qualified Opportunity Funds, how they differ from 1031 exchanges, and the potential benefits to participating in Federal Opportunity Zone Incentive program.

OVERVIEW
The recently enacted Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA) included a tax deferral and exclusion provision not widely publicized until recently.

Now, real-estate developers, high net worth individuals, nonprofit groups, and local governments are among those discussing the Federal Opportunity Zone incentive (the “Opportunity Zone Incentive”) and its potential applications.

The Opportunity Zone Incentive, still in its infancy, was established to encourage capital investment in under served areas by deferring and eliminating capital gain from any source, including real estate and the stock market.

Given its potential, any individual or entity with significant capital gains might want to consider this as an alternative to a 1031 exchange or as a tax-advantaged mechanism to diversify stock market gains into real estate.
